  • We hope you, like us, are all enjoying the fabulous sunshine! So to help make sure our furry friends can enjoy it safely too, we've got some tips to keep your beloved pets safe as the temperatures rise :)

Pets don't cope as well as us in warm weather, so make sure they are kept in the shade with plenty of fresh drinking water.
Hot road surfaces can burn paws, so walk your dogs in the early morning or late evening when it's cooler and keep their walks short.
Know the signs of heatstroke such as excessive panting, extreme salivation and distress and call your vet for advice if you see these symptoms.
And remember, NEVER LEAVE YOUR PET IN A CAR, even if the windows are open as temperatures can soar dangerously in minutes.

Let's make sure our furry friends are safe this summer, so please share with your pet loving friends too!

  • What shall we name this prickly pair? These girls are only about 2 weeks old and were found orphaned in a garden. The one on the left is grumpy and 'huffs' if touched!
