Acupuncture & Physiotherapy

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an alternative method of treatment that involves the insertion of needles into specific points on the body to cause a desired healing effect.

One of our Veterinary Surgeons, Kate Barber, has a keen interest in acupuncture and provides pre arranged appointments during which this can be performed. For more information please contact the surgery.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy can be crucial in the recovery of injuries and operations; it concerns the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through manipulation.

When necessary, we can refer you to a qualified animal Physiotherapist who can provide treatment for a range of conditions including post operative care in orthopaedic cases, arthritic dogs, nerve injuries, muscle injuries and many more. For more information please contact the surgery.

Nursing Consultations

Our experienced and enthusiastic nurses have their own clinics in which they offer a variety of consultations.

These include general health checks, post operative checks, removal of stitches, weight checks and puppy checks, clipping nails, expressing anal glands and micro-chipping.

They are also available for advice on puppy and kitten health checks, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, training and behaviour, neutering and dental care.
